The Associate of Science in Nursing at Larkin School of Nursing prepares students to take the NCLEX for Registered Nurses. Upon successful passage of the exam and licensure by the Florida Board of Nursing, graduates will be eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse. Florida National University

Florida National University’s Associate of Science in Nursing program provides students with the technical skills and knowledge to deliver culturally and socially sensitive nursing care to diverse communities. The full-time program includes lectures and labs scheduled from Monday through Friday. Clinical activities may be scheduled on weekdays and weekends. Students who meet the learning outcomes, the required clinical and theory hours, and obtain a minimum grade C (80%) or better on the course courses will be awarded an Associate of Science Degree. The courses must be completed in sequence, and only one “incomplete” in the nursing courses is permitted throughout the entire program. Students must pass the exit exam to graduate.
