BSN Programs El Paso, TX

A registered nurse’s role extends beyond that of administering medication and measuring vitals. They counsel and support patients with the goal of improving health, overall wellness, and patient outcomes. Bachelor of Science degree nurses are active in communities educating individuals, families, and communities on the prevention of diseases and the promotion of health. They are more likely to be employed in acute care due to their critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, leadership, and use the evidence-based practice – skills acquired in the BSN program. Success as a registered nurse stems primarily for the joy of helping others. All other benefits are built upon that foundation. There will always be a demand for skilled nurses – the employment growth is projected at 9 percent for the United States and a lot higher for the State of Texas. Nurses earned a median pay of $75,330 per year in 2020.
