The online RN to BSN program at Texas A&M University is available to registered nurses with an associate degree in nursing who are seeking to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The 30-hour curriculum covers the final courses students need to earn the BSN. Applicants must complete at least 59 semester credit hours of prerequisite courses in the humanities and biological, physical, and behavioral sciences at a regionally accredited institution. Once admitted, students may then complete the curriculum in three to four semesters. An individual practicum experience at a community health care facility must be completed to graduate from the program. The program may be open, with some restrictions, to candidates who are still working toward their RN license.
