BSN Programs Memphis, TN

It is an exciting time to become a nurse. Nurses emphasize the prevention of disease and educate communities to promote health. When all else fails, nurses support patients with the restoration of health and help them cope throughout the treatment process. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing pathway requires a longer completion time than the Associate of Science in Nursing but opens the door to countless opportunities including leadership positions and access to graduate study. BSN nurses also have a wider scope of practice and may work independently to create, manage and assess patient care plans and collaborate with the members of the health care team to improve patient outcomes. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a nursing employment growth of 9% over the next decade.
